Firefighters Exposed to Mold

Firefighters who tested positive for toxic mold exposure have led to a planned re-inspection of Indian River County Fire stations. Toxic Mold inspection for the buildings is in the planning stage.

The Indian River Firefighter’s Union says they are not asking for a double-digit raise. They only want livable working conditions and roofs that don’t leak.

County commissioners are developing an action plan. If mold is found, a remediation plan will also be developed. See news video below:
