Mold-Infested Abandoned House in Union Beach Poses Health Threat to Neighbors
Authorities revealed that an abandoned, mold-infested home at Saint James Avenue in Union Beach, Monmouth County, New Jersey could be causing health issues for the nearby residents.
The house, which was left abandoned after Sandy storm, was recently inspected, after a neighbor complained that the mold is making his family sick. The inspection confirmed that there was mold growth inside the house and some windows were left open.
The Union Beach officials said they will try to get the property added into the list of houses scheduled for demolition.
